Live With Me

Live With Me is possibly a rare song writing glimpse into the life and times of a Rolling Stone, that looks to be of the Keith Richards variety. Tony Sanchez took credit for inspiring the line "my best friend he shoots water rats" in his "Up and Down With The Rolling Stones" tell-all. An incident that took place at Redlands if I remember correctly. This may be heresy, but the version of LWM from Jagger's Webster Hall gig on February 9, 1993, rocks incredibly.

Conclusion:

The instrumental tracks are from 11/28/69 2nd, and the vocal is overdubbed, probably because of Line 25. The vocal on Live With Me is very consistent from show to show as you can see by the common exceptions from the audience sources. The reason "Ya's-Ya's" is uniquely different is that the vocal was redone at a different time in a different place. This vocal overdub like the one on Jumpin' Jack Flash features a clean and prominent Richards back-up vocal.
